Quality of Information we Get

Doug Krug used to say, “The quality of information we get is dependent upon the quality of questions we ask.”

I heard Doug mention this more than once.

It applies to leadership, sales, teamwork, problem resolution, interpersonal communication, and more.

If you want better information, ask better questions.

What are better questions? Open-ended. Not leading. Ones that let the other person talk.
