Are you a Sales manager or a sales Leader?

93% of sales managers believe the coaching they provide is quality coaching. Only 68% of sales people agree*.

What does that mean for you as a sales leader? Hopefully it means you’re now singing a little Michael Jackson “Man/Woman in the Mirror” and looking critically (honestly) at your coaching skills.

Many times in sales, we are self deceived. We believe customers love us when really they’re tolerating us. We believe the customer is totally going to sign and send the purchase order when they have no intention. We believe we’re working hard when we really only made 5 calls.

Take a look at your current coaching. Is it effective?

Just because you rode along with a rep or listened to one of their calls and gave them some feedback doesn’t mean you coached them and it certainly doesn’t mean it was quality coaching.

If you’d like some ideas on how to improve your coaching, connect with me for a free, no obligation conversation. I’ll give you some pointers, we’ll see if they can work for you, and if so, you’ll be on your way to becoming a better coach.

If you like what you experience and the results you get, we can talk about how I can further help you and your team if you’re interested. How does that sound?
